Stuttgart is the capital city of the German state of Baden-Württemberg and is home to the headquarters of Daimler AG and Porsche. Stuttgart has two world-class automobile museums, from which many of the classic models of Mercedes-Benz and Porsche were born.

The History of Automobiles Begins Here

Mercedes-Benz will always be synonymous with luxury automobiles, and one of its founders was Karl Benz, who designed the first automobile. At the Mercedes-Benz Museum in Stuttgart, more than 160 classic cars tell the story of 100 years of human automotive history. In addition to high-end sedans and sports cars, you can also admire the rarely seen Mercedes-Benz fire-fighting trucks and Mercedes-Benz snowplows.

Porsche has never stopped pushing the limits of speed to a new level. The Porsche 911, 917, 956… these classic sports cars have won numerous championships in international competitions such as the 24 Hours of Le Mans and the Tag Heuer Grand Prix. The cars mentioned above are only a small percentage of the Porsche Museum’s entire collection.
